Rice is the most important staple food in Japanese culture and donburi is at the heart of Japanese cuisine.  Hana Don is passionately committed to serving nothing less than perfectly cooked rice as it represents our spirit of bringing only the best of Japan into your bowl.


Our premium sushi rice is mixed with a low-acidic vinegar in a large wooden tub. To create the ideal texture, this mixture is cooled to room temperature by hand-fanning.

Hana Don uses the finest white rice in our donburi bowls. Its firm texture allows the cooked rice to retain its shape when mixed with our flavourful sauces
